Do you Live in the parish of Barton or Dunstall? If you do, the Trust is here to help you.

Established in 2007 by the amalgamation of four historic charities benefiting the village communities of Barton under Needwood and Dunstall the Key Trust provides access to financial grants to help:

  • individuals of any age in need through illness, disability, bereavement or accident.
  • young people with their extra curricular activities.
  • community organisations with major projects.

We are happy to receive applications from individuals and organisations*. We can support things like educational trips, specialist equipment, local events, new equipment for local groups and organisations. Applications are subject to our terms and conditions.

The Trust always look favourably on grants where the applicant can part fund it themselves, but this is not a prerequisite.

We also run an annual Christmas Voucher scheme for eligible residents who live in Barton. (Dunstall have their own scheme).

We meet quarterly and meeting details are below. Grant applications must be with our Clerk seven days before.

*Grants will not be considered by anybody trading for profit or where the costs should rightly be borne by an organisation or third-party provider such as the Education or Health Authorities.
